Choosing Health
Introduction to Choosing
Health
Choosing
Health is an initiative from the Department of Health with
the aim of making healthier choices easier. Tunbridge Wells
Borough Council has successfully bid for Choosing Health
funding from West Kent NHS and recently secured
it for a three year period.

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council in partnership with
West Kent NHS is
developing a number of health initiatives aiming to reduce the
health inequalities currently present in Tunbridge Wells borough.
The Association of Public Health Observatories produce
health
profiles for each borough in the country. These profiles
provide a snapshot of health in the borough.
On the left hand side of this page you will see a list of health
areas within which we develop initiatives within the borough.
These initiatives have been developed in partnership with West Kent
Primary Care Trust and are funded by a successful bid that
Tunbridge Wells Borough Council submitted to Choosing Health.
