The Town Centres Area Action Plan Development Plan Document and the Allocations Development Plan Document

The Council is in the process of preparing a number of planning policy documents, which will ultimately guide future development in the Borough.

Consultation for comments on the Hawkhurst questionnaire and the Villages and Rural Areas (including The Moor) has been extended until 24 September 2010. Consultation for the other geographical areas has now closed. Click the settlement name/area below and you will be taken to the information about that area and the questionnaire:

The consultation packs contain the following:

  • Vision and Detailed objectives
  • Development Needs
  • Town Centre Boundary
  • Green Infrastructure
  • Site-specific Information
  • Next Steps

The questionnaires are tailored to the issues raised in each consultation pack. You should complete the questionnaire in order to make your response to the Borough Council.

You can complete the questionnaires online by logging into, or registering on, the Consultation Portal at http://consult.tunbridgewells.gov.uk. If you need help to register, or have forgotten your login details, please contact us at planning.policy@tunbridgewells.gov.uk.

We do recommend that you complete the questionnaires online, but you will also be able to download and return them in the following ways:

  • By email to planning.policy@tunbridgewells.gov.uk (using the editable questionnaire)
  • By post to Planning Policy, Planning Services, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN1 1RS (using a printed questionnaire)
  • By fax to 01892 554076 (using a printed questionnaire)
