Transport Strategy

The Draft Borough
Transport Strategy will establish a clear vision and strategic
objectives to guide the future direction of transport planning in
the borough of Tunbridge Wells, identifying priorities for
transport investment and establishing a series of delivery plans to
guide the delivery of the strategy. This is being developed
jointly by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Kent Highway
Services.
The Consultation
Consultation on the draft Borough Transport Strategy will run for
eight weeks from 14 June to 09 August 2010.
Questionnaires can be completed online by logging into, or
registering on, the Consultation Portal at http://consult.tunbridgewells.gov.uk.
If you need help to register, or have forgotten your login details,
please contact us at transport@tunbridgewells.gov.uk.
We do recommend that questionnaires are completed online, but
a questionnaire can be downloaded from here
and returned in the following way:

Paper copies of the consultation material will
be available to view during the consultation period at the
following locations:
Tunbridge Wells Gateway, 8
Grosvenor Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2AB. The Gateway is open
from 9am-5pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 9am-6.30pm on
Thursdays; and 10am-4pm on Saturdays.
Weald Information Centre, The
Old Fire Station, Cranbrook, Kent TN17 3HF, open from 8.30-5pm
(Monday to Friday)
All libraries in the
Tunbridge Wells Borough area. Please check with the particular
library for opening times.
All completed questionnaires must be received
as above (including electronically) by midnight on 09
August 2010.
Please note that the Borough Council
will be holding staffed exhibitions at the following times and
locations, where you will be able to view the documentation and
speak to relevant officers.
