Licensing Committee

Functions and Delegations:

All functions relating to:

Licensing contained in Function B, Number 14A of Schedule 1 of the Local Authorities (Functions and Responsibilities) (England) Regulations 2000 as amended and set out in Part 3 Section 6 of the Council's Constitution.

Delegation of functions:

(1) All functions relating to licensing matters with the exception of any function conferred on the licensing authority by Section 5 of the Licensing Act 2003 (statement of licensing policy) and any function discharged under Section 7 (5) (a) of the Act by a committee (other than a licensing committee).

(2) All of the other Council’s functions as Licensing Authority as under the Licensing Act 2003.
