Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and John Laing have taken the joint decision to close the Tunbridge Wells Regeneration Company.

As a result the Council’s Cabinet agreed on 15 November 2012 to:

  1. agree to the dissolution of the Tunbridge Wells Regeneration Company and delegate to the monitoring and s.151 officers, in consultation with the Leader and Portfolio Holder for Finance & Governance to complete negotiations on the cessation of the Company including appointment of the Liquidator.
  2. that the Council pay John Laing the financial sum as outlined in the report as full and final settlement to facilitate such dissolution
