Information we need from you
When making a complaint by email or post please ensure you
include the following information
- Your Name, address, phone number or email. We use
these details to notify you of the outcome of our
investigations. However we may investigate anonymous
complaints
- Site Details (Give as much detail as you can, especially where
the breach relates to a piece of land)
- Details of the alleged breach
- Date the alleged breach commenced
- The impact of the breach
- Whether or not the impact of the breach finished,
continuing or getting worse
- Date of complaint
What we do with your complaint
- We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 days. You will be
given the name of the Planning
Investigation Officer dealing with the matter.
- We will carry out an investigation as soon as is possible, but
priority will be given to unauthorised
works which need to be dealt with quickly before work becomes
advanced.
- We will inform you of the outcome of our
investigations.
