Performance

Performance and Improvement is absolutely crucial for the residents and visitors of Tunbridge Wells. They have consistently told the Council that they expect their Council to deliver its priorities in the most efficient and effective way to achieve our collective Vision, Vision2026.

Vision2026 is firmly based on the information from a variety of sources and provided by many people.  In particular, the Vision has been borne out of a ‘Councillor Convention’, which saw the three tiers of local government brought together to discuss the key challenges affecting the borough and councillors’ views as to the priorities for the future.

In addition, we have taken into account a range of evidence through the borough wide survey, budget consultation exercises and other consultation. This, coupled with feedback gathered from our complaints and suggestions schemes, have fed into the draft document.

To achieve this vision, we have agreed a shared set of four Corporate Priorities:

To deliver these priorities, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is committed to:

  • Delivering high quality services to our customers
  • Improving customer service and satisfaction
  • Ensuring that we are well-managed, proactive and deliver value-for-money services
